Kentra Collections started the way most small things start — with one person, one pot of wax, and a stubborn idea about how a home should smell.
We wanted the warmth of a kitchen in the middle of cooking. The clean quiet of fresh linen. A room that made people slow down when they walked into it. What we kept finding on store shelves was perfume in a jar: loud for an hour, gone by dinner.
So we learned to pour. We tested waxes until we found one that burned clean and threw scent all the way to the corners. We cured every batch a full week before it went anywhere near a label. Years later that’s still how it’s done — in small batches, by hand, one jar at a time.
How every jar gets made
Three steps, no shortcuts
Blend
Fragrance oils are weighed by hand and blended into coconut-soy wax at a fixed temperature — the part that decides whether a scent carries or sits in the jar.
Pour
Twelve to twenty jars at a time. Wicks are centred by hand, and anything that sets uneven gets melted down and poured again.
Cure
Seven days of rest before a label goes on. It’s the slowest step and the one that makes the biggest difference.
Small batches
We’d rather sell out than scale up and lose what makes a pour good.
Honest ingredients
Coconut-soy wax, cotton wicks, phthalate-free fragrance oils. That’s the whole list.
Made to be given
Most of what we pour ends up in someone else’s hands, so everything ships ready to hand over.
